From Sangam, our journey takes us to the Nubra Valley, renowned for its sand dunes, double-humped camels, and striking scenery.

Further north lies Turtuk, a charming village that offers a glimpse into the Balti culture and boasts spectacular views of the Karakoram Range. Continuing our exploration, we reach the shimmering Pangong Lake, one of the highest saltwater lakes in the world, renowned for its ever-changing hues and tranquil atmosphere.

Our journey culminates with a visit to the Hemis Monastery, the largest and wealthiest monastery in Ladakh, known for its rich history and stunning architecture. Your trip in Ladakh

Day 01: Arrival at Leh

  • This morning, soar to the “roof of the world” on an amazing flight over the Himalayas. After an hour
    and a half, you reach Leh, the capital of Ladakh. Transfer to your hotel and proceed with the
    check-in formalities.
  • After Lunch Start exploring Leh with the visit of the Leh palace The next destination is the white-domed chorten
    known as Shanti Stupa.
  • After sunset, go back down to the city center and spend some time in the Main Bazar, a bustling market where women in traditional Ladakhi dress sell fruits and vegetable buy some Tibetan handicrafts or go café hoping to try delicious Ladakhi cuisine.
  • Return back to the hotel for dinner.

Day 02: Leh sightseeing

  • Enjoy a nice, warm breakfast with a view of the mountains and head to Sham Valley “Sham” region which means “West” in Ladakhi.
  • Start off the sightseeing by paying homage to the martyrs of the Indo-Pak War at the Hall of
    Fame
  • A half-an-hour drive from Leh brings you to the strange Magnetic Hill.
  • A few kilometres further on the Leh-Srinagar highway, you arrive at the famous photo spot of Sangam, the confluence of Indus and Zanskar rivers. Then, visit Gurdwara Pathar Sahib, a small shrine devoted to Guru Nanak
    Dev Ji, the founder of Sikhism.
  • Return back to the hotel for dinner.

Day 03: Leh – Khardung La – Nubra Valley

  • Enjoy a nice, warm breakfast and head to Nubra Valley.
  • Drive to the Khardung La pass, the world’s highest motorable road at an altitude of 5,602 metres above sea level. From the top, there is a stunning panorama of the Karakoram mountain range.
  • The dramatic Nubra valley (“the valley of flowers” in Ladakhi language) actually comprises two parts: one part along the Nubra river (Sumur, Panamik) and another part along the Shayok river (Diskit, Hunder, Turtuk).
  • Visit the Diskit monastery is was founded by Changzem Tserab Zangpo in the 15th century. It is the largest and oldest gompa in the Nubra valley.
  • Ride on a camel’s back through the rolling Hunder sand dunes. The double- humped Bactrian camels were brought from the Gobi desert in Mongolia when the Nubra valley was a stopping point for the caravans travelling on the
    Silk Road between Central Asia and India.
  • Overnight stay and dinner in Nubra

Day 04: Nubra Valley – Turtuk

  • After breakfast, Embark on a day trip to the remote village of Turtuk, India’s northernmost village located just 12 km from the Line of Control with Pakistan. From Hunder, it is a scenic 80-km drive along the Shayok river to reach Turtuk.
  • The village is inhabited by approximately 3,500 Balti people, an ethnic group of Tibetan origin. The Balti people are Muslim and they have a unique culture.
  • Turtuk was under Pakistan’s control until 1971 when it was annexed to India during the IndoPakistani war. Turtuk was opened to tourists in 2010.
  • On a clear day, the summit of K2 peak (the second highest mountain on earth) can be seen in the distance.
  • Overnight stay & dinner in Nubra/Turtuk.

Day 05: Hunder –Shyok – Pangong Lake

  • After breakfast, drive to head to Pangong lake via Shyok, a scenic drive through isolated valleys.
  • The breathtaking Pangong lake is located at an elevation 4,250m. It is 140 km in length and 70% of it lies in Tibet.
  • Pangong lake is an important breeding ground for migratory birds such as brahmini ducks, seagulls and bar-headed geese.
  • Overnight stay & dinner in Pangong Lake.

Day 06: Pangong Lake – Chang La – Hemis – Thikshey

  • Walk along the shore of Pangong lake and enjoy the surreal beauty of the shimmering blue water surrounded by barren mountains in the morning light.
  • After Breakfast start driving back towards Leh.
  • Cross one of the highest drivable mountain passes in the world, Chang La (5,360m), before dropping down into the Indus valley.
  • On the way visit Hemis Thiksey and Shey Palace. Reach by evening time and explore local markets since it will last day in Leh.
  • Overnight stay and dinner in Leh.

Day 07: Leh –Leh Airport

  • After breakfast, complete the check out formalities at hotel.
  • Later head towards airport for your onwards Journey. From the window, contemplate once more the
    beautiful Himalayan Mountains, bid farewell to this beautiful region of Ladakh and your fellow travelers.
  • Trip ends here with lifetime memories and some good friends.

  4. Booking will be confirmed only after receiving the advance payment.
  5. In case of non-availability of rooms in the mentioned hotels, this will be communicated to you and we will provide other options.
  6. In case you are not convinced with the new options, advance paid will be refunded to you without deducting any service charge and this need to be communicated to us in one day’s time after receiving the new hotels.
  7. There will not be any change in the hotels mentioned without your concern.
  8. Meals those included in the package will be served at the hotel or at any other our tied-up restaurants.
  9. Hotels for each category are selected as per the budget and through our feedback system.
  10. We suggest you to check reviews and location of hotels mentioned to make sure it is as per your preferences before confirming the package.
  11. Any extra breakfast for kids which is not mentioned has to be paid directly by guest as per the hotel policy.
